  • Define the goal, campaign objectives and timing of the project and the campaign.
  • Develop the Case Statement, which then serves as a basis for a campaign brochure and other appropriate materials.

  • Guide your staff in the preparation of standard corporate and foundation proposals.
  • Help develop a planned giving program and determine how to best integrate it into the campaign.
  • Prepare a Ways of Giving text.
  • Recommend ways of ensuring that the campaign encourages increased Annual Fund donations.
  • Conduct a specially designed Solicitors' Training Workshop to teach volunteers the techniques of major gift solicitations.
  • Prepare a Solicitors' Guide.
  • Guide staff and volunteers in soliciting initial leadership gifts. 
  • Provide ongoing strategy on all other gift solicitations.
  • Accompany solicitors, when appropriate, on visits to prospective significant donors.
  • Advise on cultivation and public relations events for the campaign.
